More luxury condos are coming to Vail.
Los Angeles-based Laurus Corp. said it's planning to build a four-story, 26-unit condo project on .75 acres next to its Hotel Talisa in Vail. The three- and four-bedroom condos will range in size from 1,800 to 3,000 square feet and will "have gourmet kitchens, indulgent bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms."
Laurus said the site is next to Vail's Gore Creek and next to Vail's Chairlift 20.
The Hotel Talisa, formerly the Vail Cascade Hotel, is being renovated by Laurus, and condo owners will have "direct access" to the hotel's services, according to Laurus. Pricing for the condos hasn't been set yet.
Rooms at the Hotel Talisa go for $800 to $1,200 a night, according to a December report in the Denver Business Journal.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to build in a market that has extremely high barriers to entry ... Condo owners and guests will have a truly elevated experience that brings the best of the resort into a home," said Jean Paul Szita, president of Laurus, in a statement.
